Our website was born of a love for our own family pets, and our quest to find pleasurable, more upper-end products that offer a unique style as well as high quality.
Our other family business is Sugarloaf Pet Gardens, a full-service pet cemetery located in Barnesville, Maryland. The pet garden grew from our love for pets, and serves an important need to nurture people who have lost a pet.
Sugarloaf Pet Gardens has confirmed our own family's beliefs that pets are cherished members of their families and that, for some folks, extravagance is just a way of life where their pets are concerned.
We fully relate to the concept that pets may be the most pampered member of the family, and wanted to share our wonderful discoveries of products that are useful, unique and, well, even extravagant. Only other people with pampered pets understand how nuts we are about our pets!
Most of our products are not available in local pet stores. Plus, purchasing over the internet provides a greater likelihood that your pet will actually use and enjoy our products. When products have been opened and set up in a pet store, many cats and dogs will refuse them due to the wide array of foreign smells that can be permanently absorbed into it. Dogs' noses, after all, are 100,000 times more sensitive than our own! All products come freshly packaged from the distributor.
SHIPPING: our products are drop shipped nationwide. Please add 8% shipping costs to all orders and allow 2 weeks delivery for most items, although some will arrive sooner. You can phone in your order, or use our online form; just print it off and fax or mail it to us. We accept PayPal, Visa, Master Card and personal checks.
Owner Janet Maus has many interests besides her own most adorable pets, and she's also been a piano teacher for many years. Even her cat was found to have a musical ear!
